Hi Neil,
My name is Allyson Newman and I am a composer here in LA. I have a small production company with 2 other composers.
I personally love your work, especially the Illusionist which I've watched several times over!
I wondered whether you would accept a demo reel from us? We are young, but very enthusiastic and dedicated to our craft.
I appreciate your time.
thanks and best wishes,

Allyson

Neil,
I just saw the other night “the Illusionist” and I am simply blown away by the narrative flow of the movie, the timing, settings and pace, everything perfectly in line to create a true master piece. I am myself Austrian, living in the US now for quite some time and I always appreciate movies that show my home town Vienna and historical references to the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy. A movie like this always puts me back into the history of my own family, the rise to power and wealth and the slow meltdown torn apart by wars, famine, economic and personal disasters and in the end the slow but steady resurrection into the 21st century. I am actor, writer and musician myself, who can relate to the richness of my country’s history. Inspired by your movie, I am planning to narrate my family’s story, which spans over centuries and again, I congratulate you and the team on this marvelous master piece.

WOW! Great movie, Mr. Burger! Brilliant adaptation of Steven Millhauser's story...and I love the additional twists you've added! This is one of my favorite films! If you check out my website at www.cucciacreative.com, and look under Gallery, you'll see my tribute to your film! You brilliantly captured the essence of the time period, the characters' emotions, and gave us quite an entertaining story...and who doesn't love a happy ending? Bravo, Mr. Burger, and GRAZIE! david cuccia, illustrator!
